Volunteering at Solomon’s Porch is a powerful way to support women and children rebuilding their lives. Whether you're prepping meals, teaching, or helping with the facilities, your time makes a meaningful difference. Join us in creating a safe, welcoming space where families can heal and grow.
We are currently in need of volunteers to help us with renovations. We will take help of all skill levels, but please be aware that we are specifically looking for:
General Construction
(Framing, drywall, insulation)
Painting
(Interior and exterior walls, trim, touch-ups)
Plumbing
(Install or repair sinks, toilets, showers)
Electrical Work
(Lighting installation, outlets, safety checks)
Flooring Installation
(Tile, laminate, carpet removal and replacement)
HVAC Assistance
(System checks, ductwork, ventilation improvement)
Carpentry
(Building shelves, cabinetry, repairing doors)
Cleaning & Debris Removal
(Post-construction cleanup, hauling trash)
Landscaping
(Mowing, planting, trimming, exterior beautification)
Furniture Assembly
(Beds, desks, storage units)
Interior Decorating
(Curtains, wall art, creating a welcoming space)
Organizational Help
(Setting up rooms, sorting supplies, labeling)
