Our Training Rooms

At Solomon’s porch, we have designated spaces for training life skills of all kinds.

Church Attendance

Whatever church our women choose, they are expected to participate in that faith community.

Financial Responsibility

At Solomon’s Porch Ministries (SPM), we believe in offering a hand up, not a handout—providing shelter and support while reinforcing the importance of financial responsibility. While every family’s circumstances are unique, many of the challenges they face stem from financial hardship. Our program is designed to address these realities, equipping mothers with the tools they need to regain independence and stability.

During their time at SPM, residents will actively contribute to the workshop, creating handmade products to be sold, with proceeds supporting the ministry. Additionally, we offer opportunities for mothers to volunteer their time in various ways, earning vouchers for local thrift shops to help them provide for their own necessities.

As families progress toward independence, we will assess their circumstances and, when appropriate, ask them to contribute financially to their living expenses. This approach prepares them for the financial obligations they will face once they are fully self-sufficient, ensuring that they leave our program equipped with the mindset and experience needed to thrive without further assistance.

By fostering a structured, supportive, and growth-focused environment, we empower families to build a stable future rooted in confidence, responsibility, and lasting success.
